layout.jpgMany people o into renovations or re-make’s rarely without the benefit of a lay-out or plan. For do-it-yourself buffs, this works best for it allows you to play around with the designs allowing you to incorporate ones you see off magazines and displays. Existing furnishings can be placed in a virtual place (virtual design tools are available which allow the input of a room’s dimensions along with the existing furnishings that allow you to move them around with the click of a mouse). If one is not adept to using computers, a simple pen, paper and scissors set-up will get you the same effect. Use a tape measure to get the dimensions of the room and all the furnishings you have to allow you to move them around without using your muscles.
