For stippled effects try using a long bristled brush, natural sponge, crumpled up rag or newspapers or a specialty stippling brush they sell at the local hardware. Two tone walls with effects can be achieved by painting the background first and letting it dry so as to prevent bleeding. Choose your desired effect and apply the second color ensuring you paint just enough area that would allow you to go over it again with to attain the texture you desire. The effect would have the base color showing through the second color giving a nice effect. The base color is usually white but the color choices are left for you to decide and they will allow you to play around with colors. You can get hold of a piece of plywood or gypsum board so you can try them out for the best effects.</p>
